Welcome to the Warwick eRA Portal for Electronic Research Administration


The Warwick eRA Portal is designed to deliver a full workbench of tools enabling researchers to access research funding opportunities, create and submit research proposals including full economic costing, track progress of submitted applications and manage their personal research profiles.

The Portal comprises several modules, of which the following are currently available for use by Warwick staff;

Proposal Tracking - for the recording and tracking of research applications and awards plus other research related activities

Expertise - accessed via the ‘Profile’ tab, for the recording of academic profiles including CV information, publications, committee memberships, honours & awards plus more

Full Economic Costing – a tool for the costing of research projects - currently only used by research spport staff

Genius search - accessed via the ‘CV database’ tab and allows staff to search for others working in particular research areas both within Warwick University and at other institutions using the Expertise system.

Work is currently underway for the staged delivery of the following additional modules;

Proposal Development – for the online development of research applications including workflow functionality for a seamless process from development to electronic submission
